Cru Cuts was a guerilla talkshow and benevolent cult created by members of Vallis Alps, Mansionair, and Breathe. They worked to advance the arts by hosting underground events for electronic musicians, including masterclasses, panel discussions, secret DJ sets, and more. All events were free and invite-only, with attendees selected randomly from a pool of applicants who registered their interest via crucuts.com on a per-event basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative directed all branding: defined brand identity, designed all assets across mediums (posters, guest brief, promotional USB’s filled with drum samples, video graphics)
Led production of video and podcast
Built crucuts.com website & managed mailing lists

Sold out 9 events in NYC & Sydney
Fostered strategic press & sponsor partnerships including Expensify and triple j
Organized fan activation events: private tours of artists’ stage setups / “beatmaker speed dating” networking events / panel discussions / masterclasses, etc.
